Notes: For outdoor gas or charcoal grills, you can do this in an 8 x 8 aluminum pan near the 350 degree F. on indirect heat.
Make sure your not placing the pan directly over the gas burner or charcoal, it will end up burning the chocolate. For gas grills, keep one or two gas burners on and place the pan on grill that has no direct heat coming from it and close the lid. For charcoal grill, move the charcoal to one side and place the pan on the grill side without the charcoal and cover with the grill lid. Check after 4 minutes and continue checking until the top Marshmallows are golden brown.
If no grill lid, use a sheet of aluminum foil to create a tent up from the grill and loosely over the top of the pan so that some of the heat from the grill will help brown the top Marshmallows.
Addition ideas for loaded S’mores: Add mini pretzels, regular or chocolate Graham crackers, shortbread cookies or Stroopwafels. Use your favorite chopped up candy bar. Snickers bar, Heath Chocolate Toffee bar, Symphony Bar. A side plate of sliced strawberries, raspberries, bananas or apples to serve with the S’mores.
