Ingredients:
16 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup of mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
4 medium size jalapeños, deseeded and membranes removed, then chopped (For medium spicy heat, use 3 jalapeños with seeds, the rest deseeded and membranes removed)
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
3/4 cup chopped green onion
6 slices fully cooked crispy bacon, chopped
Topping:
6 tablespoons of butter, melted and then slightly cooled
2 1/2 cups Ritz crackers, lightly crushed, leaving some parts of cracker
1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a large bowl, add cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic powder, black pepper and jalapeños. Stir well until combined. Stir in cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, green onion and bacon until combined.
3. Add mixture to a 7-inch by 11-inch ovenproof pan. You can use a different type pan, just make sure the dip is at least 1-inch thick.
4. In a medium bowl, stir melted butter, Ritz crackers, parmesan cheese until combined. Spread over the top of dip.
5. Cover pan with foil, cook for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and cook for 10 more minutes or until the Ritz cracker topping is crispy.
Leftover ideas: Goes great on a baked potato or breakfast hash browns. Put on a hamburger or spread for a sandwich. Add it to the middle of your grilled cheese sandwich.
